HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
Please join us in our wonderful gift to our
fathers, a prayerful novena remembering
our departed loved ones and honoring those still living. Pick up a
packet containing
a beautiful, religious Father's Day card, envelope, and prayer card in
the narthex.
Our Father's Day Novena will begin on Saturday, June 19 and conclude on
Sunday, June 27.
DON'T FORGET GOD!
Incorporating your Catholic faith into your
vacation plans can be easy and rewarding,
as well as a wonderful way to make sure your children know that God is
part of
everything we do. Here are three easy ideas for a summer with the faith.
1. The obligation to celebrate Mass does not take a vacation.
Of course, Catholics should always attend Mass on Sundays, even when out
of town. If you are on the
road, check out the times and places for Mass at
www.masstimes.org. Just enter
the city or zip codes and all the churches in the area will pop up.
You can even get a map and driving directions.
2.
Don't forget to receive the
Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Begin each day with prayer. Before you head out to the day's
activities ask for
God's blessing and protection on the day. At night thank Him for the
time you've shared together
.
3. Visit one of the historical religious sites in
the area you are visiting.
For a list of most shrines visit

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
VBS TIME CHANGE
VBS is still from
July 12 thru 16,
but we will now start our VBS program with breakfast at 8:00 AM
We will end our day with lunch and the children should be picked up by
noon.
CCW THANK YOU
Due to your generous donations to our yard sale
on June 5. The CCW was able to
donate $2,425.00 to the Holy Spirit Building Fund. Remember there will
be another
yard sale, so keep donating your "good stuff".
