THANKSGIVING CRUISE
Join Fr. Mike Ingram and the Roaming Catholics Travel Club for a week of
sailing and fun.
No cooking or baking this Thanksgiving!
Sailing out of Charleston, SC, November 20-27, 2010. We will visit
Nassau, Freeport and Key West.
Deposits and passport copies must be in the office by June 17,
2010.

PARISH COUNCIL SUPPER
There will be a staff-hosted dinner at the Parish Hall on Thursday, June
17 at 7:00 PM.
This is in appreciation for the dedicated members and their spouses who
have served this past year and to welcome newly elected parish
council members and their spouses.
Joyce will be calling or e-mailing this week those attending for an
RSVP.
FATHER'S DAY NOVENA
Please join us in our wonderful gift to our fathers, a prayerful novena
remembering our departed loved ones
and honoring those still living. Pick up a packet containing envelope,
and prayer card in the narthex.
Our Father's Day Novena will begin on Saturday, June 19 and conclude on
Sunday, June 27
SECOND WIND BAND
Your presence is requested at Jocks & Jills on Friday, June 18 for
delicious food, cold beverages, and lots of fun!
Second Wind Band will begin playing at 8:00 PM

MEN'S CLUB
Calling all men of the parish! Don’t miss our Men’s Club meeting this
Thursday, June
10.
We begin at 6:30 P.M. with a delicious meal prepared by Chef Joe
Hargrove.
Our special guest speaker will be Charles Richardson, Macon’s very
popular and
outspoken newspaper, television, radio, and internet personality. Come
and hear
Mr. Richardson’s perspective on the latest
happenings in Macon-Bibb Co.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
VBS TIME CHANGE
VBS is still from July 12 thru 16, but we will now start our VBS program
with breakfast at 8:00 AM.
We will end our day with lunch and the children should be picked up by
noon.
ADORATION CHAPEL
You are invited to visit our Adoration Chapel at St. Joseph Church. We
have a very peaceful and quiet Chapel.
A great way to spend a quiet hour with Jesus. Or for Jesus to spend a
quiet hour with you.
We have over 300 adorers from 6-7 different parishes in Middle
Georgia and there is always room for one more.
Drop by for 15 minutes or for a regular hour a week. Anytime is fine
(we do have several open
hours in the early morning). There are forms at the back of the church
for those of you
that are interested (fill out and put in the basket and we will be in
touch within the next week.)
MUSIC DIRECTOR NEEDED AS ST. PETER CLAVER
The candidate will provide piano/organ accompaniment for three
weekend masses:
Sunday's at 9:00 AM, 11:15 AM (both English Masses), and 1:30 PM
(Spanish Mass).
The candidate should possess the ability to accompany congregational
singing and familiarity with simpler piano repertoire. Competency in
other instruments would be a plus. He/she should also have basic
knowledge of
choral conducting and be able to recruit and lead a parish choir.
The qualified candidate will be required to submit to a diocesan
mandated background check and
attend diocesan Safe Environment/VIRTUS training. Negotiable Salary.
