FR. MIKE OUT OF TOWN
Fr. Mike will be on vacation January 18-21 and will be leading the Rachel's Vineyard Retreat January 22-24.

Park your car at Central City Park and ride the free shuttle bus back up to City Hall.
The busses begin running at 11:00 AM.


C.C.W. SPAGHETTI DINNER
Mark Your Calendars! The Annual CCW Spaghetti Supper will be held on Saturday, January 30 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM in the Parish Hall.
Tickets prices are: $6 Adult, $3 Child; or $18 Family and will be on sale after all Masses or may be purchased from the church office or any CCW member.
The meal will consist of spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert, and a drink.
Please invite your family and friends to join us for this delicious meal and fellowship!
Remember, the CCW uses all proceeds to do good works for Holy Spirit Parish.

CONNECTING CATHOLIC FAMILIES WITH THE BIBLE

January 30, 2010 at Sacred Heart in Warner Robins.
This workshop for parish leaders is offered by the Center for Ministry Development.
This one day workshop is designed for pastors, faith formation leaders, DREs, Youth Ministers,
Catechists and leaders of Sacramental Preparation.
Cost is $49 includes lunch and handouts.

MASS OF HEALING
Fr. Ingram will have a Mass of Healing on February 11, 2010; that is the National Day of Prayer for the sick.
Mass will be at 9:00 AM followed by breakfast in the Parish Hall.

Please call the church office to reserve a spot at breakfast.

ST. VALENTINE'S COUPLES MASS AND DINNER
We will have a special Mass honoring couples on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 6:00 PM.
Come have your marriage blessed and join us afterwards for a romantic dinner and a movie.
The Mass and Blessing are free; the dinner and the movie are $25 per couple.
Please call the church office as soon as possible at 788-6386 for reservations.
Dinner is limited to the first 40 couples.
Reservations close on Wednesday, February 10, 2010.

OUR SMPATHY
Long-time parishioner Donald Sims died peacefully
at home on Saturday, January 9, 2010.
He was buried in Kentucky on January 14.
We will have a Memorial Mass at Holy Spirit at a later date.
Please pray for the repose of his soul and for his family.

DIVORCED OR SEPARATED CATHOLIC RETREAT

Fr. Jerry McCarthy will present helpful information for anyone interested in pursing a declaration of nullity after a divorce
at 7:00 PM on February 19, 2010 at the Catholic Pastoral Center in Savannah.
This session is free and open to divorced persons, family and friends seeking more understanding of the Catholic process of annulments.
Registration is required.
The Family Life office invites all divorced or separated Catholics to a retreat day at Villa Marie Center
on the Isle of Hope in Savannah from 9:00 AM—5:00 PM on February 20.
Mass will be celebrated at 4:00 PM in the restored Chapel.
Fr. Ronald Gatman, osb and other presenters will provide spiritual guidance for the journey to healing.
Cost of the retreat is $25 and includes lunch and coffee breaks.

RIGHT TO LIFE RACE
Knights of Columbus Council #4371 in Warner Robins is hosting a 10K Run/5K Walk
on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in Warner Robins.
The 10K race starts at 9:00 am with the walk starting immediately after.
he course is flat and consists of (2) 5K loops for the 10K.
The start/finish is Sacred Heart Church, 251 S. Davis Dr. in Warner Robins.
Long sleeve shirts to all participants and trophies to top 3 male and female finishers and top finishers in listed age groups.

It’s time for the 2009-2010 CCHD Multi-Media Youth Arts Contest!
All young people in grades 7-12 are encouraged to participate!
Students have an opportunity to learn about poverty in the United States and to use that knowledge
to creatively communicate a faith response that gets to the root causes of poverty.
Students can win up to $100.00 locally and $500.00 nationally!
